TEMPE, Ariz. – Coming off a historic junior campaign, Sebastian Dominko earned ITA All-American honors for the third time in his career after finishing the season ranked 20th in the final ITA Singles Rankings of the season Wednesday. Dominko is now just the third three-time All-American for Notre Dame, joining David DiLucia and his current head coach Ryan Sachire.
Dominko is coming off a season where he became the first player in program history to win ACC Player of the Year. The Maribor, Slovenia native finished the spring 19-4 in singles, with 10 wins against ranked opponents. He was 27-8 overall combined during the fall and spring seasons and qualified for the NCAA Singles Championship last fall.
In three seasons, Dominko is 63-22 overall in singles play during his time with Notre Dame and is 23 wins away from cracking the top-20 in program history.
